  The unfortunate experience of Jabber the Great Dane with TPLO should be required reading for anyone contemplating the procedure for their dog. By all accounts, his case is extremely unusual -- more than 99% of dogs recover from TPLO with no complications -- but if you want to know about that 1%, this is it.
